Often stable sheets are the go-to the night before a show when your horse has been clipped and bathed to keep them free of stains and dust. For a warmer, thicker option, you might want a stable blanket for your horse. Still not waterproof or water-resistant, they are made from nylon and have a layer of polyfill like turnout blankets. They often are not as heavy-duty as turnout blankets since they don't need to stand up to mud, sticks, rocks, and other things that can tear the nylon.
